MAY 05 - EASY INSTALLATION OF CHIMNEY PROTECTION

Efficient and cost-effective compliance with Building Regulations and NHBC Standards for the construction of chimneys is simplified with Z-Led’s CT Chimney Trays range.

Both Building Regulations and NHBC Standards require systems to prevent water penetration into a chimney. Available in two options for high and low level use, the Z-Led CT Chimney Tray ensures cost-effective compliance with these requirements, protecting against water penetration into the chimney, be it new build or refurbishment. Pre-formed components eliminate the labour required to form the units on site. The one-piece design of the unit further accelerates installation time and helps give a clean external finish.

The CTHL Chimney Tray High Level is purpose-designed from milled lead sheet for use where a chimney rises through a pitched roof. Suitable for new build and remedial work, the unit’s design minimises disturbance to the surrounding brick- or block-work in refurbishment applications. It is available in 800mm x 800mm, 900mm x 900mm and 950mm x 950mm as standard, to suit either 195mm dia square or circular flue, with other sizes available to special order.

The CTLL Chimney Tray Low Level is designed from high melt point aluminium alloy sheet, to cope with installation close to the heat source. Easy to install, it prevents water penetrating from a chimney’s brick shoulders into the inner leaf of the cavity wall. Available as standard to suit a 1115mm x 510mm chimney, other sizes are available to order.
